Ellen D. Fertakos, Esq. is an associate at Schibell & Mennie, LLC concentrating in all aspects of civil litigation throughout Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties. Ms. Ellen Fertakos graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts, concentrating in Latin American Studies and Spanish Language and Literature. Ms. Fertakos went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. While at Seton Hall, Ms. Fertakos worked as a student attorney in the Immigrant Workers’ Rights Clinic of the Center for Social Justice and served as Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law.
Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Fertakos served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas W. Cavanagh, Jr., P.J. Ch. (ret.) in the Chancery Division, General Equity Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County.
A native of Union County, Ms. Fertakos and her husband now reside in Point Pleasant Beach. She enjoys cooking, sailing, and learning new languages.
